Governor Murtala Nyako of neighbouring Adamawa State where the ailing Suntai had the unfortunate plane crash has revealed how he was used by God to save the life of ailing Suntai immediately he had a plane crash in his territory in Adamawa.
Nyako, who spoke on Suntai’s health, has asked Nigerians to pray fervently for the full recovery of the ill governor.
Nyako said, “The survival of Suntai is by God’s grace and also by the facilities put in place by my administration, at the ultra modern German Hospital in Yola in Adamawa State which rescued him from premature death.”
He made this revelation at the Dougirei Government House, Yola while hosting some newspaper executives on his 70th birthday.
The governor said the well-equipped German Hospital readily came to the aid of Governor Suntai when he was involved in an accident in a Cessna airplane which he was piloting near the Yola International Airport.
“If not for the timely intervention, the ailing governor got through our well equipped German Hospital, the story of the governor would have been different by now,” Nyako said.
The governor added that immediately after the accident, the Suntai was rushed directly to the Yola German Hospital where he received more blood and oxygen as part of the first aid that rescued his life.
This was responsible for his being alive today. The oxygen machines we have can sustain a patient who has no oxygen in his system for days”. Nyako said apart from the blood and oxygen, the entire body system of the ailing governor was scanned using special equipment which was sent to Germany where the ailing governor was later taken to for medical treatment.
Nyako, however, declined to comment if the governor had fully recovered to resume duty. He merely charged Nigerians, especially Taraba people, to keep on praying for the governor to recover fully.
