Hahaha !!!! Sometimes I imagine how the universe was 100 years ago. I asked myself how people were surviving, communicating, dressing, transporting, etc. was there any technology then? If yes what was it like?
All these I pondered in my mind till one day I decided to ask questions and make concrete research to appeal my wondering mind.
REALITIES
I discovered that, 100 years ago there was nothing like modern cars, aircraft, ships, laptops, ipad, iphone, search engines, social networks etc.
I sincerely was not taken back by my discovery. I anticipated such. What this signifies is that, most of this establishment, inventions, technologies; etc that has played a significant role in enhancing our existence here was never in existence 100 years ago.
All these things that we see in our world today were never sent from heaven, although, the inspiration came from above. It was invented, designed and implemented by men like us who sat down and reasoned on how to help their world. Most of them didn’t have the western education that is ruling the world today, but yet, they were able to come up with ideas, inventions, programs, that will help their world.
This shows that all men have in them potentials to help contribute to this world we live in. The Astonishing but sad part of the story is that, if not all of the above invention are not ours “THE BLACKS” (Nigeria/Africans). They are the brain child of the white men who came into this life the same way we did but rather decided to change their world.
Fellow compatriots, are we going to sit down, fold our arms and watch other people enhance our world and enrich themselves by civically draining our pocket because we must definitely buy their inventions or are we going to stand up to feet, put on our thinking cap, engage our fingers to work and channel our energy towards the right direction so that in the next couple of years to come, we would be able to have our own technology, an invention proudly ours that the whole world will buy.
The choice is yours. As for me and i have chosen the latter option.
The truth is this, it is right about time we start educating our selves as corporate entities and as individuals. We have to be creative and innovative. We need to work to achieve this great task because nothing good comes easy.
We need to set up objectives and targets to meet up this challenge so that the sky will be our starting point and with God on our side we will get there someday.
