According to Vanguard it was learnt that the killers, who stormed his residence in two motorcycles and a vehicle reportedly snicked him away in the presence of his wife, Mrs Witney Atsuwete and their three children. It was also also gathered that the gunmen that invaded Atswete‘s home had earlier abducted his tenant, Mr. Emmanuel Abah.
Meanwhile, reactions have been pouring in over the death of the lawyer with the All Progressive Congress, APC, describing the incident as the deadliest politically motivated killing that has taken place in Rivers State in recent times.
