FG propose bill for Nigerians to pay 9% tax on calls, SMS, MMS, Data, others

   

        Minister of Communication, Bayo Shittu, yesterday disclosed that the Federal government is proposing to introduce a bill called the Communication Service Tax CST bill which seeks to levy 9% on telecommunication subscribers for users of various communication services such as voice call, SMS, MMS, Data usage from telecommunication service providers, internet service providers and Pay TV Stations.

      Lukas Klosertmann and Nils Peterson scored to send Germany into the Olympic gold-medal match for the first time with a 2-0 semi-final victory over Nigeria on Wednesday.
The Germans will play Brazil on Saturday at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. The stadium was the site of the country's World Cup victory in 2014, a few days after the German senior team embarrassed Brazil 7-1 in the semifinals.

       Charlie Webster, a TV presenter is battling for her life in a Brazilian hospital after contracting a rare strain of malaria on her way to the Olympic Games. The 33-year-old former Sky Sports News anchor is reportedly in a coma and on a life support machine in Rio de Janeiro. Her family, including her mother and brother, have flown to be by her side.
