INEC- Open campaigns by political parties in Anambra State will commence on August 18th 2017


 

     Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says that open campaigns by political parties and candidates for the governorship election in Anambra State will commence on August 18th 2017.
  INEC disclosed this in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Commission, Augusta Ogakwu, today in Abuja.

Photos: Newborn baby dumped in pit toilet in Benue State, mother arrested

   

   

    A woman has been arrested by the police for allegedly throwing her newborn baby in a pit toilet in Zaki Biam, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State in the early hours of Sunday, March 19th.
The baby miraculously survived after neighbours heard the child crying from deep inside the pit and quickly rescued him. The woman is currently in police custody. Another photo after the cut.
