BREAKING: Senate Passes Petroleum Industry Governance Bill

 

   The Senate has passed the Petroleum Industry Governance Bill. The PIGB is the first part of the Petroleum Industry Bill, which the National Assembly has failed to pass since 2008. To allow for easier passage of the bill, the Senate broke it into three parts.

 At Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Her Majesty met nursing staff, paediatric doctors and surgeons and thanked them for their work over the last few days.
  During the visit, The Queen spoke to a number of the victims and their families, including Millie Robson, aged 15, from County Durham, Evie Mills, aged 14, from Harrogate, and 12 year old Amy Barlow, from Rawtenstall.

27yrs Old Nigerian, Godwin Benson Wins UK Engineering Award With "Tuteria App"

 

    A tutoring app "tuteria" developed by a 27-year-old Nigerian has won an engineering award given by the UK's Royal Academy of Engineering. Godwin Benson designed Tuteria, a platform that links qualified tutors to students in their area and within their budget. He developed the platform based on the experiences he had as a tutor.

Manchester United defeats Ajax To Europa League Trophy

   Manchester United became the third English side to win the UEFA Europa League with a 2-0 defeat of Ajax in the final at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden and thereby booked their place in the group stages of the 2017/2018 UEFA Champions League.
