Ariana Grande to be honoured by Manchester after raising £4million for victims of terror attack
Ariana Grande is in line to get honorary citizenship of Manchester. The council want to hand the singer the honour after she arranged the One Love Manchester benefit concert which raised more than £4million for the victims of the terror attack at Manchester Arena. The attack followed the singer's performance there last month left 22 dead and many more injured.

An internet fraudster ran a Match.com online dating scam to con seven men out of more than £100,000 by getting them to send her cash in exchange for a date. Grace Akintaro, 24, pretended to be 'Amanda Jenson' and even spoke to at least two of her victims on the phone, persuading them to send her money for travel and expenses ahead of romantic rendezvous.

CCT clears Saraki of false asset declaration charges
The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has dismissed the charges of false asset declaration against Senate President, Bukola Saraki. Chairman of the tribunal, Danladi Umar, in his ruling this morning, said the prosecution team had failed to provide sufficient evidence to prove that Saraki was indeed guilty of false asset declaration.
Details Emerge On Policeman Who Shot Wife, Maid & Killed himself
Sgt. Thomas Agada who committed suicide on Sunday reportedly drank a bottle of beer before shooting his wife and her maid with an AK47 rifle at her restaurant in Nyanya Gwandara area of Karu Local Government of Nasarawa State.
Checks revealed that Agada, who was attached to the Special Protection Unit of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, had just finished night duty when he carried out the attack on his victims. A hotel worker, who simply identified herself as Lydia told Northern City News on Tuesday that Agada drank some beer at Hotel ‘D Memories’ before the incident. She stated that the late sergeant did not finish his drink before storming out to the restaurant being run by his estranged wife popularly known in the area as Madam Angela.
Fire engulf a 27-story apartment block in West London
Early this morning, a huge fire has engulfed a 27-story apartment block in West London. London Fire Brigade immediately arrived the scene with 200 firefighters and 40 fire trucks to tackle the blaze as rescue workers tried to evacuate the building located in Lancaster West Estate in North Kensington.
