A shocking video showing a wedding ceremony between a 16-year-old boy and his 71-year-old lover has emerged. The teenager and his elderly female lover had faced objections when they decided they wanted to get married but they swore to kill themselves if they were not allowed to be together and their families finally gave in.
Senators declare war against Osinbajo over Magu
The Senate on Tuesday called out Nigeria’s Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to a constitutional fight over Ibrahim Magu, the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The Senators unanimously resolved today to suspend all confirmation requests from the executive until decisions of the legislature are respected by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo. One of the decisions was the non-confirmation of Magu twice by the senate. Senators now wanted Magu sacked immediately.
3 Die During Church Deliverance Service In Delta
The Police in Delta have confirmed that three worshippers died during deliverance service at a Church located in the outskirts of Warri.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed the incident on Tuesday. He said that one of the deceased drowned, while the other two died during prayer session in the church at the weekend.

Cooking gas price to crash by 20%
The ex-depot price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) popularly called cooking gas is set to crash by about 20 per cent in the next few weeks. The crash in the price of LPG may not be unconnected with the intervention of the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited which plans to invest about N150 million towards jetty upgrade in Apapa.

The irate students had on Tuesday burnt down a house close to where the deceased body was discovered, and continued their demonstration on Wednesday morning.

The new coach of French Football club Lille, Marcelo Bielsa has told former Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and 10 other players that they are no longer needed by the club.
After being appointed by the club's new owner, Gerard Lopez, on a two-year deal in May, Bielsa immediately set about reshaping the squad that finished 11th in the French Ligue 1 last season.

According to a Facebook user, FearGod Akpakpan, who posted the story in a Facebook group (Sitippe Akwa Ibom), he said the dedication took place on Sunday, June 25, at Christian evangelistic church Ikpe Akpa Ewe, Oruk Anam LGA in Akwa Ibom State.
APC Drags INEC To Court, Seeks Order To Stop Senator Dino Melaye's Recall Process
The ruling party, APC, Kogi State chapter, on Tuesday, July 4th, filed a suit before a Federal High Court in Abuja against the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).
In the suit, the party asked the court to stop INEC from activating the process of recalling Senator Dino Melaye. The Senator's constituents had submitted a petition and signatures to INEC, demanding his recall from the Senate.
