Senate passes Financial Intelligence Bill in one week
The Senate on Thursday passed the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Agency Bill after considering the bill for only one week. The Bill which was only read for the first time on Thursday July 20, passed second reading on Tuesday and was approved by the upper legislative chamber on Thursday, exactly one week after.
Nollywood’s Belinda Effah Unveils Food Store (photos)
Nollywood actress, Belinda Effah branched out into something outside the movie industry as she launched her new food store which she calla Favor-Right Foods.
She revealed this on her Instagram page by putting up photos of the store on the opening day as she wrote:

Customs Seize 140 Imported Snakes, 660 Other Animals
The Nigeria Customs Service on Wednesday intercepted three consignments containing 140 species of snakes and 660 other animals imported into Nigeria from Cameroon. The containers were brought in aboard a Cameroonian vessel, MV Flesh, through the Calabar waterways to the National Inland Waterways Authority jetty in Calabar, Cross River State.
