7.9m Ethiopians to be empowered

No corps member was killed in Owerri building collapse-NYSC

 

     The Management of the National Youth Service Corps said no member of the corps was killed in the building collapse in Owerri on Aug. 13. Mrs. Bose Aderibigbe, the NYSC Director of Press made the clarification in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday.

Photos: 138 Nigerians deported from Libya

 

   A total of 138 returnees were yesterday deported from Libya. They arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport aboard an Airbus A320 aircraft with Flight number BRQ 189/190.
   The 106 female adults, three female children, eight male adults, 18 male children and three male infants arrived at about 6:10 p.m.

FG saves N4.7bn monthly with TSA, says AGF

   

    Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, has revealed that the Federal Government on a monthly basis save about N4.7 billion that would have been spent on bank charges following its introduction of the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
