Nigeria spent N9tr on fuel subsidy in 10 years – PPPRA

 

   The Petroleum Products and Pricing and Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has said that over N8.97 trillion has been expended on fuel subsidy under Petroleum Support Fund (PSF) scheme between 2006 to 2016.

   Jide Tinubu, the son of APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu, died in a Lagos hospital yesterday November 1st. Jide, a lawyer, reportedly complained of chest pain and slumped. He was rushed to the hospital where he died. He was 43 years old.

  Timothy Afolaranmi, the brother of a late undergraduate student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, Mercy Afolaranmi, has faulted reports that his sister committed suicide. Timothy claimed that 16-year-old Mercy was a devout Christian who would never take her own life, adding that she was murdered.

CAF Releases Full List Of Nominees For African Player of the Year Award

 
    The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of 30 finalist vying for African Player of the year. They also included Super Eagles’ Victor Moses and William Troost-Ekong among 30 finalists for the 2017 CAF African Player of the Year Award.
