‘I Thought I Was 74 But Was Told I Am 75’ – Buhari Expresses Doubt Over Age

   President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, December 25, stirred up a fresh controversy over his real age when he said he thought he was 74 but was told he was 75, PUNCH reports Buhari spoke when the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammed Bello, led a delegation to pay him Christmas homage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

   The President, joined by state governors and other top government officials, celebrated his 75th birthday penultimate Sunday. He was said to have been born on December 17, 1942, in Daura, present day Katsina State.

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo visits filling station, turns petrol station attendant in Lagos

 

    Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo paid a visit to one of the Filling stations in Lagos Island, where he turned to a petrol attendant in order to get a first hand feel of the state of the hardship Nigerians are currently experiencing.
   According to his official photographer Novo Isioro, who shared photos from the visits,
‘this evening, the Vice President made a stop at Oando Petrol Station by Elegushi where he engaged with citizens in queues. He went pump by pump to get insight on people’s experience, especially the wait time.

Jonathan’s ex-campaign chief, Dr. Ngozi Olojeme forfeits 38 houses

 

    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has traced 38 choice houses to a former Chairman of the Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Dr. Ngozi Olojeme.

   Mrs Olojeme, Deputy Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Goodluck Campaign Organisation in 2015, is being investigated by the EFCC for alleged diversion of $48,485,127 from the accounts of the NSITF. Of N62.3billion fraud discovered in NSITF, $48,485,127 is allegedly credited to Mrs. Olojeme.
