“I am pregnant for Kizz Daniel”, Lady Claims And Shares Baby Bump
One Chinny Ubak has said that Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe better known as Kizz Daniel has put her in the family way without taking responsibility. The light-skinned lady took to Instagram to disclose the news through a gossip micro-blogger, Chinny.
According to her, Ogun State-born Kizz Daniel, 24, who currently is locked in a legal tussle with his former record label, G-Worldwide has been shying away from taking responsibilities as her baby bump continues to grow. In her own words:
Midwife Sells a Week-Old Baby For N250,000
A midwife, Regina Ibeto, 50 years of age has been arrested by the police in Lagos for allegedly selling a-week-old baby for N250,000. Ibeto who was arrested on May 23 at her residence, No 96 Bunmi Ajakaye Street, Ajangbadi was paraded with the buyer, Udoju Chukwunoye, 45 and the middleman, Joy James. According to the police, Ibeto usually induced expected mothers and once they are delivered of their babies, she sold them off.
Trump confirms senior North Korean official en route to US
President Donald Trump confirmed that a senior North Korean official is en route to New York as part of preparations for a planned summit with leader Kim Jong Un. “We have put a great team together for our talks with North Korea. Meetings are currently taking place concerning Summit, and more. Kim Young Chol, the Vice Chairman of North Korea, heading now to New York. Solid response to my letter, thank you!” Trump wrote in a tweet.
Court Orders Atiku’s Son, Estranged Wife To Agree On Children’s Upkeep Allowance
A Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere on Friday ordered Aminu Atiku and his ex-wife, Unmi Bolori, to agree on the monthly upkeep allowance he would be paying for the two children of the severed union. Justice Kazeem Alogba described the dispute by the estranged couple’s over the N250,000 per month as ordered by a Tinubu Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, to be paid by Atiku as a waste of time.

Court Dissolves 18-Year-Old Marriage Over Abandonment
An Idi-Ogungun Customary Court, Agodi, in Ibadan, on Friday dissolved the 18-year-old marriage between one Fatimo Taiwo, 35, and her husband, Lukman, on ground of abandonment. The President of the court, Chief Mukaila Balogun, said the court was left with no option than to dissolve the marriage since the defendant had urged the court to uphold the divorce request of his wife.
FG hands over N3.85bn Esan Water Project to Edo Govt
President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government has handed over to the Edo State Government, the completed Northern Esan Water Project, in Ugboha, Esan South East Local government area of the state. The project estimated to have cost N3.85 billion, can generate two million gallons or nine million liters of water per day.

Trump cancels summit with Kim
President Donald Trump has cancelled the planned June 12 summit in Singapore with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, citing the “tremendous anger and open hostility” in a recent statement from North Korea. It came on a day that North Korea dismantled its nuclear bomb testing site, in the presence of some invited journalists.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode Adopts LASU Best Graduating Student, Gifts Him N5 Million
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State gave the sum of N5 million to the Best Graduating student of the Lagos State University (LASU), Fuhad Adetoro. The governor made the cash donation to Fuhad during the convocation ceremony at LASU which took place at the institution’s Ojo campus. Governor Ambode also adopted Fuhad and pledged to sponsor Fuhad’s Masters programme to any University of his choice.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released a list of 58 illegal universities operating in Nigeria. According to a publication dated May 14, which reads, “For the avoidance of doubt, anybody who patronises or obtains any certificate from any of these illegal institutions does so at his or her own risk.” According to the NUC, certificates obtained from the institutions will not be recognised for the purposes of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), employment and further studies.

Malaysia Slash Salaries Of Ministers
Malaysia has slashed salaries of ministers by 10 per cent and also cut public spending. The decision was taken to control spending as the new government deals with high-level debt, the 92-year-old leader said exceeded more than one trillion ringgit (251.5 billion U.S. dollars). Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on Wednesday the measures at the first cabinet meeting which was attended by more than a dozen of the newly sworn-in ministers. “We are concerned about the country’s financial problem,” Mahathir told reporters after the meeting.
Tribunal Orders FCMB To Pay N989m Decade Debt
The Investments and Securities Tribunal, Abuja, on Wednesday ordered First City Monument Bank Plc (FCMB) to pay N988.5 million to a stock broking firm after a decade long dispute. Valueline Securities and Investments Ltd, who brought the bank before the tribunal, said the debt was from shares purchase fund allegedly misappropriated in 2008 by the defunct FinBank Plc with which FCMB merged in 2012.
