Ex-President Shehu Shagari is dead. Shagari passed away at the National Hospital Abuja on Friday. He was 93 years old.
The news was broken by the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, on his Twitter handle. Tambuwal had tweeted:
