Lassa Fever kills 3 persons, 7 others quarantined

 
  Fear has gripped residents of Owerri,the Imo state capital, as three persons have been confirmed dead from the dreaded Lassa Fever virus while seven others have been quarantined. Confirming the incident yesterday  to Daily Sun, the state Commissioner for Health, Dr Angela Uwakwem, said that the three victims died of the virus after the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Owerri referred them to another health institution for possible cure.
