Ex-PDP Leaders In APC Give Seven-Day Deadline For Talks

 

  Members of the New Peoples Democratic Party wing of the coalition that formed the All Progressives Congress (APC) have alleged that the alliance has not favoured them since 2015. They claimed that both the party and President Muhammadu Buhari have sidelined the new PDP members. They demanded an urgent meeting within seven days to work out modalities to ensure a level playing field for all in the Congresses and Convention of the APC.

   The members, led by former National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Kawu Baraje, issued a seven- day ultimatum to the leadership of the party to arrange a meeting with the leader of the party and the party executive to resolve the issues raised.

Tekno Settles Beef With Danfo Drivers

   The beef between Danfo drivers and Tekno has suddenly been settled. The duo during an interview said Tekno owe them for using their song without contacting them and if they catch him they will deal with him. Tekno posted the photo with love emojis saying ''slimdanfo''.

Kano Arrests 92 Street Beggars

 

   The Kano State Hisbah Board on Wednesday said it arrested no fewer than 92 beggars in the Kano metropolis for allegedly contravening the law against street begging. The Officer-in-Charge of the board’s Anti-Begging Unit, Dahiru Nuhu, said the beggars were arrested around 1am at the Civic Centre, Yankura Market, as well as Yankaba bus stop.
