    Nigerian music superstar Davido last night won the 2018 BET Best International Act Award. Daniel III In a keenly contested category, Davido won ahead of the likes of Cassper Nyovest,  Fally Ipupa, J Hus, Tiwa Savage, Stefflon Don and Stormzy to claim the highly coveted award.

IPOB, Ohanaeze Youths Demand Release Of Abaribe

 

   The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has given the Department of State Services (DSS) 48 hours to release Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe. It said if Abaribe’s arrest by DSS was simply by standing surety for its leader, Nnamdi Kanu and for allegely supporting IPOB, then all those who stood surety for murderers, kidnappers and rapists are equally guilty of the offence as charged.

FG, Switzerland sign pact on asset repatriation

 
  Nigeria is set to partner foreign consultants, comprising legal practitioners and other experts in Switzerland, on a voluntary offshore asset repatriation scheme. Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, the disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bern, Switzerland on the sidelines of a meeting held at the Nigerian Embassy, recently.
 

   Malami said under the scheme, experts will collaborate with the Swiss government to target funds that have not been identified in ongoing investigations. Since 2015, $322 million Nigeria looted funds have been repatriated from Switzerland.
