National Youth Service Corps Sanction Popular Artiste, David Adeleke, Aka Davido
The National Youth Service Corps has sanctioned popular artiste, David Adeleke, aka Davido, for violating camp rules during the mandatory three-week orientation camp.
Top sources in the NYSC told a Punch correspondent that for “absconding” from the camp during the orientation camp, the Corps had to “dekit” the artiste, which brought to an end his participation in the 2018 Batch ‘B’ Stream II in Lagos State, where he had been posted.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) has cried out over the stoppage of transactions on all accounts belonging to its Vice presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, wife, his family members and their businesses by agencies of the Muhammadu Buhari administration. The party in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, said Obi has been threatened by Buhari the administration since he decided to run for Vice President in 2019 election.
I Have No Preferred Presidential Candidate For 2019 Election – Obasanjo
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has declared that he has no preferred candidate in the forthcoming general elections.
Obasanjo said he would not tell Nigerians to vote or not to vote for any particular candidate, but should vote wisely. Obasanjo, who some people believed had decided to support Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said he needed Nigerians to vote for a credible candidate.
