The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. – John 6:63
We’ve seen some tremendous medical breakthroughs in our generation. We’ve seen “miracle drugs” developed that can conquer many kinds of sickness and disease.
But, you know, in the 45-plus years I’ve been a believer, I’ve discovered another, much more effective, kind of medicine: the Word of God. There’s never been a miracle drug that could equal it. God’s medicine is the answer to every need. It is life. It is health. It is the power of God. And if you put it in your heart and act on it, you will be healed.

Differences In Male And Female (Part 1) by Pastor Faith Oyedepo
Differences In Male And Female (Part 1) by Pastor Faith Oyedepo
Dear Reader,
You are welcome to this edition of the Family-life, where you will enjoy the presence of God. This month, I shall be exploring male and female differences. It is a very important subject which so many couples often neglect in their homes. It is my prayer that at the end of this teaching, your home shall become a loveable place in Jesus’ name!
I want you to know that everything about God is unique; He excels in variety. There are no two people who are exactly alike. I would like you to know that men are men and women are women and our various needs differ. An understanding of the uniqueness of the male gender will help the woman to appreciate why her husband acts the way he does, and this shall go a long way to preventing crisis in your family.

Dear Reader,
I welcome you to the concluding segment of the series of this month’s teaching in Jesus’ name! So far, I have taught on laying a solid foundation for your children, love and control and God’s view concerning child-training. This week, I will be sharing with you, The place of the home in child-training.
Some parents lay up money, houses, clothes, cars and other possessions as an inheritance for their children. But the greatest inheritance you can leave behind for your children like I have been emphasizing for the past few weeks is a good Christian upbringing. The best environment to transfer and impart that on your children is the home.
No matter how good or expensive a school is or how glorious the church is, there is no better environment than the home. What these other places transmit to your children cannot be compared with what your home transmits to them. The school, church or society, are only meant to complement the home; they cannot take the place of the home.
Some parents even send their children to boarding schools, for the sole purpose of shying away from their responsibility and for more freedom, according to them. I pray that the freedom you think you are having today will not become a snare to you tomorrow in Jesus’ mighty name. No other place can take the place of the home. When it is time for school, let them go; when it is time for Church, let them go. But remember that they are coming back home to meet you. Don’t claim to be too busy for your children, especially in these fast-moving days. Whatever seeds you sow in their lives today will bear fruits tomorrow. (Genesis 8:22 says:) While the earth remaineth, seedtime, and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. It is important for you to note that children spend more time at home than any other place. Now, let us consider two main ways by which the home affects the children.

Under the Old Covenant, the temple was the house of God, the place of prayer for His people, the children of Israel. The temple had three compartments, one of which was the Holy of Holies, and it held the presence of God! Amazingly, now our renewed and sanctified spirit is the place where His presence dwells!

The beginning of strife is as when water first trickles [from a crack in a dam]; therefore stop contention before it becomes worse and quarreling breaks out. – Proverbs 17:14, The Amplified Bible
Throughout the Scriptures, God warns us about the danger of strife. Yet, it’s still one of the most common problems among believers. We let it get into our homes, our workplaces, our churches…everywhere!

Nigerian Who Ordered Soyinka Out of His seat Opens Up
The young Nigerian man who ordered Prof. Wole Soyinka out of his seat on a flight has broken his silence and opened up on why he took the action.
The young man’s name is Tosin Odunfa. His comment is on the Instagram page of Daddy Freeze and on Twitter. He said the matter was being blown out of proportion by Tonye Cole. Tonye Cole had narrated an incident on a flight in which a young Nigerian man ordered Soyinka out of his seat and that the professor had to quietly vacate the seat.
Many Nigerians had taken a swipe at the young man for not being respectful despite it was his seat Soyinka sat on. According to Odunfa, he was on the Autism spectrum and needed the view from the window to keep him from getting sick on the plane, hence his insisting on taking the window seat.
“I am the young guy! Yes, the one in question with a baseball cap and t-shirt, I am unashamed to be at the prime of my youth, in fact, I blushed a little bit after reading your description of my chest and muscles. Is thank to strong discipline that I live a fit life and I am able to go to the gym o my tight schedule.

And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward . . . — Luke 12:42
It is not wrong for men to possess riches. But the Bible warns that money cannot buy happiness! Money cannot buy true pleasure. Money cannot buy peace of heart. And money certainly cannot buy entrance into the Kingdom of God. Often money is a hindrance to these things. Money takes our minds off God. Riches, when used selfishly rather than for the glory of God, tend to corrupt in our hands. Money cannot be a substitute for God.

CAN Meets With Elrufai
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) had advised Kaduna state Governor Nasir El-Rufai to channel his energy to combating security challenges plaguing the state rather than on preaching and praying. According to CAN, the state is currently bedeviled with kidnappings of people on the highway, in their farms and homes and other forms of insecurity yet the governor was more concerned about regulating religious activities.
