President Juan Orlando Hernandez Of Honduras Recognize Jerusalem As Israel's Capital

 

   President Juan Orlando Hernandez of Honduras will on Friday August 30, initiate the final move of recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by travelling to the city to inaugurate a 'diplomatic office'.    Honduras' foreign ministry in a statement ahead of the inauguration, said Israel had proposed the embassy's relocation to Jerusalem even though it is being "analyzed and evaluated in the international and national context". 

    AFP reported that the diplomatic office in the disputed city will be an extension of Honduras' Tel Aviv-based embassy. "For me it's the recognition that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel," Hernandez said on Tuesday August 27.
