Beloved, learn to put aside everyone that tries to discourage you from your journey of faith. There are some people who will not go up with you on that journey. Put them aside! In Genesis 22:5 Abraham had to tell his servants, ‘wait here, because you cannot go with me and Isaac to the next level.’ The reason why some things have not happened in your life is that you have allowed some things they said concerning you to affect you and to build a stronghold in you. So, it has become a weight and when you want to pray, you can’t pray. By the authority of heaven, I destroy that weight.
Jesus was on the pathway to success, therefore, He had to put aside every weight in order to continue His journey. You will get to the place you are going, and no one will abort it for you. No devil, no witch, no warlord and not even friends will abort it for you. Not even miserable comforters or professional mourners. All those who said ‘we shall see’, they will truly see. They did not know that they were prophesying. When they said to Joseph, ‘behold the dreamer cometh’; yes, he was the dreamer. And I love Joseph, he dreamt again.
Jesus took only people of faith; Peter, James, and John, along with the parents of the girl to Jairus’ house.
Surround yourself with people who affirm you. Surround yourself with people who are going somewhere. Not gossips or idle talkers. Love every person but not everyone can be your friend. You can’t be everybody’s. If you are not going to take me somewhere, you cannot be my friend. This journey of faith is from glory to glory. Jesus sent them all out and picked only the people of faith. People of faith are the people that will speak to your strength. Their words of faith and words of affirmation will activate the dream in you. The thing that God has put there comes alive when you are affirmed.
