   The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council in Ekiti State has said that if not for lack of conscience, those still supporting the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari will go to bed last night, covering themselves with blanket of shame after seeing the President’s scandalous performance on NTA programme, ‘The Candidates.’

    The State Campaign Council Director of Media and Publicity, Lere Olayinka, in a statement on Thursday morning, ,said, “almost all questions had to be interpreted to the President while he talked off-point throughout; answering no question appropriately to the extent that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo became so embarrassed and agitated that he tried to help him answer questions that was asked him. “It was so terrible that the moderator had to tell the Vice President to allow President Buhari to talk for himself.”

(BUSINESS) Oil Prices Slip As U.S. Crude Output Nears 12mbpd

 

   U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures CLc1 were at $51.92 per barrel at 0752 GMT, down 39 cents, or 0.8 per cent, from their last settlement.

  International Brent crude oil futures LCOc1 were down 37 cents, or 0.6 per cent, at $60.95 per barrel. American crude oil production reached a record 11.9 million bpd in the week ending Jan. 11, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday, up from 11.7 million bpd last week, which was already the highest national output in the world. U.S. output has soared by 2.4 million bpd since January 2018, stoking fears of a supply glut.

   The EIA also said gasoline stockpiles climbed 7.5 million barrels last week, far exceeding analyst expectations in a Reuter’s poll for a 2.8 million-barrel gain. At 255.6 million barrels, gasoline stocks were at their highest weekly level since February, 2017. “While (U.S. crude) inventories fell slightly more than expected, there was a large build in gasoline inventories. “This stoked fears of weak demand in the U.S.,’’ ANZ Bank said in a note.

(LOCAL) Osinbajo Reacts To CJN Onnoghen’s Trial

 

   Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reacted to the prosecution of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen, noting that he is sad about the situation.

   He also said President Muhammadu Buhari did not know about the plan to arraign the CJN until Saturday evening. According to him, the President had always made clear that institutions should not be interfered with. Osinbanjo said this on Wednesday at the opening of the Online Publishers Conference in Abuja. He added that he is sad about the turn of events and regrets the current situation where a senior member of his profession is subjected to such judicial process. “I feel very sad that is going on at all.

1. God is interested in the Triumph of your home: One of the reasons why your marriage must succeed is that God has interest in your home. God was practically involved in the first wedding ceremony between Adam and Eve. He designed the home to succeed. The Word of God says, And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man (Genesis 2:21-22).
