    Davido’s 2017 hit, ''Fall'' continues to do impressive numbers. The song whose video currently holds the record for the most streamed Nigerian music video on YouTube has now also become the longest charting Nigerian song on Billboard.

    Rochas Okorocha, Governor of Imo State, says he is contesting for a seat in the Senate so that he can remain “politically relevant” even after leaving office as governor. Okorocha said this while speaking to the press in Imo State on Tuesday. He lauded the effort of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure voters in Imo State are captured, just has he accused some politicians in the state of betraying him.

    U.S. President Donald Trump says he will meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vietnam on Feb. 27 to Feb. 28 for their second summit, local media report said on Wednesday. Trump told Congress in his State of the Union address that as part of a bold new diplomacy, the U.S. would continue its  historic push for peace on the Korean Peninsula.

  Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary have been granted R100,000 bail each when they briefly appeared at the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Pretoria today. After being granted bail, they wore huge smiles on their faces and gave their defence team firm handshakes. Oscar Pistorius’ lawyer, advocate Barry Roux represented the pastor.

(LOCAL) Ambode Presents N852.317bn 2019 Budget


   Governor Akinwunmi Ambode  has finally presented the 2019 budget  totalling N852.317 billion. The budget is N187.68 billion less than last year’s budget, which was put at N1.04 trillion.

   However, the ceremony which lasted about 25 minutes was devoid of  the usual razzmatazz of budget presentation in the state. Ambode, who had arrived the assembly complex at about 2.23p.m, was received by the Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa and other principal officers of the House.
