(LOCAL) Governor Yahaya Bello’s Wife Survives Car Crash In Same Local Government Where Osinbajo’s Chopper Crashed

 
     
    A statement from the governor’s Chief Press secretary, Onogwu Muhammed says the accident happened around Oshokoshoko area of Kabba while the governor’s wife and some aides were on their way to Isanlu for an All Progressives Congress (APC) woman rally. The statement added that all occupants of the car were unhurt.  A week after Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was involved in a helicopter crash in Kabba, Kogi state, the first wife of the state governor, Amina Bello was involved in a car accident in the same area on Saturday February 9th.

   British rapper Cadet had died at the young age of 28. According to reports, Cadet was killed in a horror taxi accident after his performance at Keele University in the early hours of the morning.

   The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) said on Friday that it never expected the Supreme Court ruling which barred it from fielding candidates in Rivers State. APC National Publicity Secretary Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu who fielded questions from journalists said the party’s legal team were looking at the judgement.

   Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa on Friday ordered the sack of an aide, Mr Friday Eluro who was caught on video assaulting a woman. The Governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Aniagwu said the Governor frowned at the assault on a woman especially by an appointee of government who should uphold the law.
