HIDING IN A CAVE BY BERNI DYMET

Psalm 57:9 My Lord, I will praise you before all people. I will sing praises about you to every nation. When things in your life have been at their worst, when you’ve been completely rock bottom, let me ask you, on a scale of zero to ten, how inclined were you at that point, to praise God? Hmm?

There was a time before David became King of Israel, when he was in fear of his life. King Saul his predecessor, had figured out that David was going to take the throne from him, so he hunted David down, in order to kill him.

So, we find David hiding in a cave, in fear of his life. Crying out to God.

Psalm 57:4 My life is in danger. My enemies are all around me. They are like man-eating lions, with teeth like spears or arrows and tongues like sharp swords.

God’s Promise Of Fruitfulness (Part 2) By Pastor Faith Oyedepo

God’s Promise Of Fruitfulness (Part 2) By Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Dear Reader,

It is another privilege to share God’s Word with you. I mentioned last week that God’s greatest desire is that you have your miracle children. I started by pointing out the fact that God’s plan and purpose for every family is to be fruitful and multiplied. Just as He instituted marriage and placed everything at their disposal to make life pleasurable and pleasant for them, He also decreed that man shall be fruitful and nothing or nobody can make man unfruitful.

Luke 5:36-37, “And he spake a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.”

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. — Mark 11:22

Dr. Wernher von Braun, the guiding scientist in the development of our great space rockets, has said, “The materialists of the 19th century and the Marxist heirs of the 20th tried to tell us that as science yields more knowledge about the creation, it makes us able to live without faith in a Creator. Yet so far, with every new answer we have discovered new questions.

Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him]. – Ephesians 4:27, The Amplified Bible

If you give the devil place, he will take it. You have to stay alert and keep your shield of faith high because if you don’t, he’ll turn around and steal back from you the ground you just took.

There have been people who have received their healing and have fallen back into their old thinking patterns of sickness. They let their faith down and gave the devil an opening. When he came along with an old symptom, they weren’t ready for him. They fell victim to his counterattack.

Memorise: “Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.”- 1 Corinthians 13:7

Read: Matthew 1:18-25 (KJV)

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
