(LOCAL) Police Arrest Suspected Kidnappers Of Buhari’s ADC’s Father-In-Law
Police in Katsina State on Wednesday said the suspects in connection with the abduction of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Aide de Camp (ADC)’s father-in-law, have been arrested. The spokesperson of the Katsina State police command, Gambo Isah, in a statement disclosed that Magajin Garin Daura, Alhaji Musa Uba, was abducted on Tuesday evening at his residence.
He added that the kidnappers numbering six stormed the residence in a Peugeot 405, unregistered car, blue in colour, shot sporadically into the air, and abducted him. The State Commissioner of police and police patrol team later arrived the scene and arrested some of the suspects. One police officer was however hit during a gun-duel with the kidnappers.

(LOCAL) We are dying of hunger - retired Lagos teachers
Some retired workers from the Lagos State Ministry of Education have lamented the delay in the payment of their pensions.
The former teachers said more than two years after retirement, they had yet to receive any communication from the government over their entitlements. They said while some of their colleagues had died without getting any payment, others were sick and lacked adequate medical care.

It [grace] has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world. – Titus 2:12, The Amplified Bible
When an athlete goes into training, he practices to improve his skills. He works hard, repeating the same motions over and over until they become what we’d call “second nature” to him.

When I consider thy heavens . . . — Psalm 8:3
To look into a microscope is to see another universe so small that only the electronic microscope can even find it. For instance, it is revealed that one single snowflake in a snowstorm with millions of other snowflakes is the equivalent of twenty billion electrons.

Dearly beloved, my assignment today is to draw your attention to the infallible, errorless word of God. Let us consider this scripture:
“But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me.’’ (Acts 1:8 NKJV)
The events of today in our very unstable world confirm that Jesus is coming soon, and so as a child of God, you have a responsibility to witness your faith everywhere you go. Don’t be a secret service Christian. Let people know you are saved. Remember your salvation cost God the blood of His Son and there is nothing to be ashamed about. The Apostle Paul boldly declares this fact in Romans 1:16 (KJV). He says “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greeks.’’

John 6:9, ‘There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?’
John 6:1-13
Notice that Jesus didn’t just turn some of the stones into bread (as Satan had tempted Him to do in Lk. 4:3). We find only one instance in scripture where God created a supply to meet a need (Num. 11:21-23). Usually, the Lord simply blesses what we set our hand to do. The resources were totally inadequate to meet the need in this instance, but when the Lord blessed it, there was more than enough.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear…. — 1 John 4:18
Receiving means “taking; accepting; admitting; embracing; believing; entertaining.”
We conducted a survey at our office, asking our employees what one of their greatest concerns was in their walk with God. The number one response was, “When can I know that I am doing enough?”

Memorise: “He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.”- Proverbs 15:27
Read: Proverbs 1:17-19 (KJV)
17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.
18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives.
19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
