John 6:61, ‘When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?’

John 6:60-69

This scripture, as well as Matthew 15:12, reveals that people will be offended by the Gospel. As much as possible, however, we should make sure that it is not ourselves that are offensive. But we cannot labor under the deception that everyone will receive the Gospel, even if the truth was presented properly. We know that Jesus represented His Father perfectly and yet most people rejected His message.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love . . . — Romans 12:10

Living creatively for Christ in the home is the acid test for any Christian man or woman. It is far easier to live an excellent life among your friends, when you are putting your best foot forward and are conscious of public opinion, than it is to live for Christ in your home. Your own family circle knows whether Christ lives in you and through you.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. – Matthew 6:24

God isn’t against your having money. He’s against money having you. He’s against your making it your priority and putting your trust in it instead of in Him.

Why? Because He knows money makes a lousy god. Its power is limited. It will only buy so much. It will only go so far.

If you need healing from an incurable disease, money won’t help you at all. If your family is falling apart, money won’t mend it. But if you’ll seek God first, His prosperity will reach into every area of your life.

The Word of God by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

The Word of God by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

When Jesus steps into your situation, frustration stops.

Luke 5:5 –And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

When God’s word comes, toiling stops. When His word comes, frustration stops; when His word comes, sickness stops. When His word comes, situations change. God will turn around that situation in your life in the name of Jesus! I announce to you that after this day, all your frustrations will turn to testimonies in Jesus name!

Luke 5: 6 –And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Net-braking, city-shaking miracle will come to you right now! The kind of break-through you will get, you will call on others to help you!

Read: 1 Samuel 16:1-13 (KJV)

1 And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.

3 And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.
