Police To Arraign Senator Abbo On Criminal Charges
Following his invitation by the police authorities a few days ago, Senator Elisha Abbo is set to be arraigned in court on criminal charges this week.
Sources within the police, while confirming development said the Senator’s woes were already compounded after admitting he committed the offence. It was gathered that the police would have on Friday arraigned him but for an attempt to retrieve original footage of the video from the sex top shop in Abuja where the incident occurred.

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai has said northerners should be proud of their culture, tradition, and unity, adding that no one from the north has been convicted of 419 or being a Yahoo boy. El-rufai made this known at Northern Youth Summit in Kaduna, which was organised by Northern Hibiscus, an NGO.

Former Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State says he got information from a top detective at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission that the acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, were holding secret meetings on how to send him to jail.
Okorocha subsequently made available a text message sent to him by the operative. It read in part, “Your Excellency, I will like to give you this information. You must be careful. There is a plan to either eliminate you or sink you politically. They said you want to contest for the deputy senate presidency, a position that will give you an edge to contest as President in 2023, so everything must be done to get you out of the way.
