Ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss. – James 4:2-3

Are all your needs met today? If not, why not?

According to the Word of God, it’s either because you’re not praying about them at all or because when you do pray, you’re praying wrong.

Looking for that blessed hope . . . — Titus 2:13

One of the best ways to get rid of discouragement is to remember that Christ is coming again. The most thrilling, glorious truth in all the world is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. When we look around and see pessimism on every side, we should remember the Bible is the only Book in the world that predicts the future. The Bible is more modern than tomorrow morning’s newspaper.

Differences in Male and Female (Part 3) by Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Differences in Male and Female (Part 3) by Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Dear Reader,

You are welcome to another exciting moment in God’s presence! I started this teaching by explaining the differences between male and female. Today, I shall be teaching on ‘his needs’. Before marriage, most men already have in mind the kind of attributes they need in their wives. I don’t think any man will ever wish to marry a lazy and dirty woman for example. No man will wish to marry a wife that is disrespectful. Every man will always wish to marry a good wife. He Needs a Respectful and submissive wife.

Luke 11:42 ‘But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone.’

Luke 11:42-44
When Jesus said, ‘and not to leave the other undone,’ it is clear that He is not arguing against doing what is right. God’s Word stresses holiness in our actions. The Pharisees’ error that caused Jesus’ rebuke was that they believed their actions could produce a right relationship with God. But a proper relationship with God can only come by humbling ourselves and putting faith in a Savior, who is Jesus. God cleanses our hearts by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8) and then we have our fruit unto holiness (Rom. 6:22). Holiness is a fruit, not a root, of salvation.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
