1 killed, 19 Vehicles Burnt In Tanker Explosion In Niger State

 

   A tanker explosion which occurred at Dilko Junction in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State by 10pm on Friday August 30, left one dead and 10 others injured. 19 vehicles were also destroyed in the incident while the injured victims were rushed to Umar Musa Hospital in Sabon Wuse.

SA Female Fighter Leighandre 'Baby Lee' Jegels Shot Dead By Her Police Officer Boyfriend

 
  World karate, continental and SA boxing female champion Leighandre Jegels has been shot and killed on Friday, allegedly by her police officer boyfriend, whom she had a protection order against. Jegels’ mother, who was also shot in the attack, was rushed to an East London hospital.

   The FBI has issued a warning to the public about a nationwide scam involving perpetrators impersonating its agents and phone numbers.

EFCC Arrest Internet Fraudster Wanted By The FBI

 

   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has arrested one of the suspected internet fraudsters wanted by the United State’s Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI. The EFCC said Joseph Oyediran, 36, was arrested in Ilorin, Kwara State “as part of an international crackdown on a syndicate of cyber criminals.” This was disclosed by the zonal head of the EFCC in Ilorin, Isyaku Sharu, at a press conference on Friday.

NYSC Hands Over 50 Fake Graduates To Police

 

   The National Youth Service Corps has disclosed that it has nabbed 50 unqualified graduates who attempted to register in the Batch B Stream II exercise with fake certificates at the orientation camps across the country.
