Open Heavens Daily Devotional 23 September 2019- AVOID THESE SEVEN ABOMINATIONS

OPEN HEAVEN 23 SEPTEMBER 2019 MEMORISE: The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death. – (Proverb 21:6)

OPEN HEAVEN 23 SEPTEMBER 2019 READ: PROVERBS 6:16-19 (KJV)

16. These six things doth the LORD hate; yea, seven are an abomination unto him;

17. A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Beloved, we bless God for another wonderful morning. It is indeed a great privilege to be alive and be here. The Lord will reward you with wisdom, even as you through today’s open heavens. God bless you, as you share this important message with someone.

There are many things people do that hinder their progress in life or even permanently destroy their destiny. We shall be discussing seven of these today.

From today’s Bible text, these seven include a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies and a person who sows discord among brethren.

These all are abominable in the sight of God because of the great negative impact they have on the lives of others.

Billy Graham Daily Devotional 23 September 2019- How to Handle Temptation

Billy Graham Daily Devotional 23 September 2019- How to Handle Temptation
who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able . . .
—1 Corinthians 10:13
It is Satan’s purpose to steal the seed of truth from your heart by sending distracting thoughts. It should encourage you to know that the devil considers you a good enough Christian to use as a target.

The difference between a Christian and a non-Christian is: though they both may have good and evil thoughts, Christ gives His followers strength to select the right rather than the wrong. You see a man going to prayer meeting with a Bible under his arm.

Andrew Wommack Daily Devotional 23 September 2019- Seek God's Wisdom
Matthew 23:1 'Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,'
MATTHEW 23:1-9
This rebuke by Jesus to the scribes and Pharisees for their hypocrisy was the harshest treatment that He ever gave to any group. He did this publicly before the multitude, the people the hypocrites most wanted to impress.

Kenneth Copeland Daily Devotional 23 September 2019- A Little Every Day

Kenneth Copeland Daily Devotional 23 September 2019- A Little Every Day

Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

Luke 13:18-19

If you’re going to grow in the kingdom of God, you’re going to do it just like a seed that’s been planted in the ground. How does a seed grow? All at once? No, it grows constantly—24 hours a day—a little all the time until it accomplishes what it was created to do.
