TOPIC: GOD IS STILL IN CHARGE- TREM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 13TH NOVEMBER 2019

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelations 1:8 KJV
When you sit down ordinarily and watch the events of life, the situations and challenges, you are tempted to believe that the devil is in charge. It appears as if heaven is silent, but that’s not true. When you read the scripture, you will see that the reverse is the case. Your God is in charge!  It excites me to know that no matter what I encounter, God is still in charge. I am talking about the Almighty. He is the final authority. He is the beginning!  He is the end! He is the first! He is the last! And He is the center. He upholds all things by the Word of His power! Your God is the centre of civilization.

For those whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. — Proverbs 3:12 (AMP)

Perhaps you have been struggling with accepting yourself. You see the areas in yourself where change is necessary. You desire to be like Jesus. Yet it is very difficult for you to think or say, “I accept myself.” You feel that to do so would be to accept all that is wrong with you, but that is not the case. We can accept and embrace ourselves as God’s unique creation, and still not like everything we do.

Memorise: “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.” – 1 Peter 4:7

Read: 1 Peter 4:1-10 (KJV)

1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
