I no longer have pillow talk with my husband - Aisha
First Lady Aisha Buhari says she hardly engages in intimate bedroom conversations with her husband these days because they are both too busy trying to fix the nation and lives. She added that this is why she can't stop “talking”. Aisha made the remarks on ‘Journalists Hangout’, a programme on Television Continental (TVC), which was monitored by TheCable.
India shuts down internet after deadly protests
Internet access was cut in India's northeastern city of Guwahati on Friday as thousands gathered for fresh protests against a new citizenship law, a day after police shot dead two demonstrators.
Protests erupted this week after the government introduced new legislation that many in the far-flung northeast believe will give citizenship to immigrants from neighbouring Bangladesh, and which other critics say is anti-Muslim. On Friday morning thousands gathered in central Guwahati as riot police looked on, with residents hurrying out to buy essentials.
Electricity workers suspend strike
The National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) has suspended the strike it embarked upon on Wednesday.
The union took the action, which lasted 24 hours, after a 21-day ultimatum issued Saleh Mamman, minister of power, to implement its demands. It had said there was no other option but to down tools since Mamman failed to initiate a dialogue before the ultimatum lapsed at midnight on Tuesday.

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Proverbs 16:3, The Amplified Bible
Right now you may be on the edge of a major decision...about to make a change in your job or your church or your personal life. You know you need divine guidance. And you're hoping desperately to hear from the Lord.
If that's your situation, don't panic. Being led by the Lord isn't some complicated process that only the spiritual "pros" can master.
I found that out years ago when I was a new believer. I wanted to live in a way that was pleasing to God, but I didn't know how to make decisions that were in line with His will.
Then one day as I was studying The Amplified Bible, I came across Proverbs 16:3. Immediately, I latched on to this verse and began to use it in my life—and I can tell you now from experience, it works!

“And he said, hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, thus saith the LORD unto you, be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
2 Chronicles 20:15 KJV
Always remember that every battle affecting any believer actually belongs to the Lord and not the believer. God told Jehoshaphat and Israel in 2 Chronicles 20:17: “ye shall not need to fight in this battle. Set yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord”. Many of you are fighting when it is not a physical fight.

With everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy redeemer.
—Isaiah 54:8
If God is all-powerful and all-loving, it would seem inconsistent with His nature to allow anyone to be lost. Here again we rationalize because we do not understand the nature of God. God cannot go against His own laws and against His own nature. God is holy. He cannot tolerate sin in His presence. He created us free to choose how we would live.

Text: Psalms 102:1-12
1 (A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD.) Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.
2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.
5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.
6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.
7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

Memorise: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” – James 1:22
Read: James 1:22-25 (KJV)
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
