Missing baby not exhumed from Akure church- Ondo state police command



    The Ondo State Police Command has shut down rumors that the body of missing one year old Gold Kolawole, was exhumed from the Sotitobire Miracle Church in Akure, the state capital.

   Some irate youths in the state capital stormed the church premises this morning and set it on fire following rumors that the body of Kolawole who went missing in the church in November, was exhumed from the altar. In a statement released this afternoon, spokesperson of the state police command, Femi Joseph said the rumor is untrue. Read the statement below:

Imo Senator, Benjamin Uwajumogu slump and dies

 

   The Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District, Benjamin Uwajumogu has died. According to reports, Uwajumogu slumped in his house while taking his bath. He was rushed to a private hospital in Apo, Abuja where he was confirmed dead.

DSS Arrests Pastor After Corpse Of Missing 1 Year Old Boy Was Found Buried At His Church Altar


    An ondo based pastor, Alfa Babatunde of Sotitobire church has been arrested by men of the State Security Service (DSS) after one year old Eniola Kolawole's corpse was found buried at the altar. The youths of the community set the church ablaze in anger after the shocking discovery.

Buhari under fire for approving N37b for National Assembly renovation


   President Muhammadu Buhari came under fire on Wednesday, hours after he signed on his birthday the N10.59 trillion 2020 budget, as he offered too generous gift to the National Assembly: a N37 billion fat envelope to renovate the complex.

“It is my pleasant duty, today, on my 77th birthday, to sign the 2020 Appropriation Bill into law. I’m pleased that the National Assembly has expeditiously passed this Bill. Our Federal Budget is now restored to a January-December implementation cycle”, Buhari declared at the signing ceremony, surrounded by National Assembly leaders.

Dokpesi denies dumping PDP for APC

 

   A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Edo State, Chief Raymond Dokpesi, on Tuesday dismissed reports that he left the opposition party to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, saying that nothing impressed or attracted him to the ruling party.
