Topic: The Blessing Shall Speak On Your Behalf [TREM Devotional 16 January 2019]

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold, and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous” Genesis 26:12-13 NKJV

God has blessed Abraham and so of necessity, Isaac must be blessed. That is why Isaac, following God’s instruction, can sow in the land of famine and prosper. Some time ago I was asking God why He told Isaac to remain in the land of famine and not to run like his father. He said to me: “Because I wanted him to know what he was carrying”! Isaac, you are carrying blessing. So, don’t run away. Your blessing is not about your location; it is about what you are carrying. You have a blessed heritage. Because of his blessed and goodly heritage, Isaac sowed in a land of dryness and he got a hundred-fold.

Child of God, the bible says the earth is filled with God’s goodness. In other words, no matter how bad it is, there is still good there. Because of your heritage, the bad there will not be your portion. It is only good that must come to you. Understand that you are not hopeless. Don’t be bothered with anything that is happening around you. When it looked as if Jacob had lost everything in the house of Laban, God gave him a strategy. In your most challenging moment, expect a divine strategy.

Your heritage is powerful! It is a heritage of health, wealth, abundance, breakthrough. You will not be a disappointment! You cannot see shame because your heritage is good and glorious. You are a child of a King. The cattle on a thousand hills, the beast of the forest, fowls in the air, rubies, and diamond, they belong to your God. He is your Father! You belong to him! You are under His canopy. So, there is no way you will not be blessed.

Carry yourself with a knowing that you are blessed and watch the blessing speak on your behalf. You are blessed and it cannot be reversed.
