Lagos state government has described as untrue, stories making the rounds that the quarantined coronavirus patient, at the Mainland Hospital, Yaba, Lagos had attempted to escape. The state government insists that the patient is in a stable condition and has been moved to a better and more conducive place.
Government officials maintain Nigerians would be updated regularly on the progress been made regarding the patient and containment of the virus. Regarding the 120 passengers onboard the plane with the italian, the state government has started making contacts so as to ensure that the virus does not spread within the country.
