Prayer and Prosperity by David Ibiyeomie

Prayer and Prosperity by David Ibiyeomie

Acts 10:4 (KJV) And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

Prayer is an earthly license that compels heavenly interference and intervention. It is communicating with God on the basis of His Word and our relationship with Him. God’s awesome ability and power is enjoyed through prayers.

As a child of God, when you are prayerless, you become powerless because we draw God’s power through prayer. God’s presence is constant but His manifesting power varies. You draw power through prayer in His presence. No economic circumstance can hold you down when you know what to do as a child of God.

Deuteronomy 8:18 (KJV) But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Prosperity is the state of all round well-being (physically, mentally and materially) according to 3 John 1:2 (KJV) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Financial prosperity on the other hand is having enough of God’s provision to promote the Kingdom of God, to meet our needs and the genuine needs of others according to 2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV) And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Psalms 20:2-3 (KJV) Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

Prayer and prosperity simply means seeking divine intervention by engaging the forces of prayer and seed sowing. It is the act of seeking the hand of God in your life by calling on Him and sowing of seeds.

Acts 10:4 (KJV) And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

Your prayer and seeds commit God to respond in your favour. When you pray and do not give, you suffer hardship and when you give without praying, you become vulnerable to the forces of darkness.

Haggai 2:6, 8 (KJV) For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

It is what you allow that God will allow. God cannot shake the heaven and the earth for your desire to come until you engage these forces.

Isaiah 45:11 (KJV) Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

Power cannot be demonstrated without prayers. When the forces of prayer and giving are applied, no force in hell can stop you. As you apply these forces from today, I see God prosper you beyond human comprehension in Jesus’ Name -Amen!

God bless you
