Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally dies of covid-19

 

  Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally has died of coronavirus aged 81. The complications brought on by the disease killed him. Terrence had died at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida, according to his representative.

   The star suffered with chronic COPD and he had survived lung cancer. He was one of America's greatest playwrights with a number of awards tied to his name and he enjoyed a flourishing career in theatre.
