Mysterious deaths in Kano not connected to coronavirus - Kano Government

   The Kano Government has said the scores of deaths, in recent days, were unrelated with the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic. But it also quickly acknowledged it was jumping to conclusion by stating that the health ministry is probing the causes.

   Malam Muhammad Garba, the Commissioner of Information, gave the government's position in a statement. “The state government acknowledges recent deaths in Kano, but it is on top of the situation. We have begun investigation to unravel the remote causes of the deaths.
