Governor Uzodinma orders total lockdown of Imo

     Imo Governor, Hope Uzodinma has ordered complete lockdown of the state as part of measures to prevent the dreaded Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease from entering the state.

Presidency debunk report saying Federal Government is planning to pay N30,000 to citizens during COVID-19 crisis

 

  The Presidency has disowned an online report suggesting that the federal government  is planning to pay N30,000 to each Nigerian with a Bank Verification Number (BVN).

UK coronavirus deaths pass 1,000, 260 die in 24 hours

  The UK coronavirus death toll has risen to 1,019 after 260 people died in the last 24 hours - with at least 13 of them being healthy adults. There are currently 17,089 in Britain who have tested positive for Covid-19.

Eight New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In Nigeria

  Eight new cases of the #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 89. The Nigeria Center For Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed this at 4:00 pm on Saturday, noting that seven of the cases are in Lagos while one is in Benue State.

Governor El-Rufai Tests Positive For Coronavirus
