THE POWER OF INFORMATION BY DAVID IBIYEOMIE

Are You Offended With God by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Are You Offended With God by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Matt.11: 6 – And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Offense is simply a negative reaction to an unpleasant situation. John the Baptist was offended because he was in prison and Jesus did nothing about it.

John the Baptist was utterly loyal to Jesus. He walked a life of total self-denial. He gave everything up for his God. And now he finds himself in a cold prison.

The Word Encounter by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

The Word Encounter by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

We attract what we expect and we reflect what we desire. Again, we become what we respect and we mirror what we admire.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

God’s word is like a mirror; each time you look at it, you admire it and whatever you admire, you mirror and imitate.

You Are Chosen by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

John 15:16 (KJV) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Your salvation comes with an expectation. Every born again has the assignment to build and edify the church; equipping God’s people for the work of the ministry — which is soul winning.

The Miracle of Salvation by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

The Miracle of Salvation by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Miracles are the divine interventions of God provoked by the desperate faith if men. It is the supernatural manifestation of God’s power in our daily lives. It is something that cannot happen by human means; it is unexplainable and does not follow natural principles. Miracles are simply the supernatural taking over the natural.

Law of Self Discovery by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Law of Self Discovery by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

The number one thing for you to reach your place in destiny is what I call self-discovery. Until you discover who you are, you can never recover your place in destiny. You must discover who you are, it is your discovery that determines your recovery.

Genesis 37: 11 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

Commitment To Your Family by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Commitment To Your Family by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Challenges come to every home; what makes the difference between one home and the other is wisdom. From the scripture above, the “rock” is the Word of God and that rock is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Word of God. The “storm” has to do with challenges that every family faces. The “sand” represents human philosophies ideologies, tradition, and so on.

Be Disciplined by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Be Disciplined by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

No matter how gifted a person is, without the application of self-discipline, the gift will never take that person to his or her maximum potential. Do you want to conquer the world? Then, you have to conquer yourself first.

Titus 2:6 (KJV) Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

Conquer yourself before thinking of conquering the world. David, for instance, was able to conquer Goliath (1 Samuel 17), but he was not able to conquer himself. Adultery got the better of him! If you first conquer the world without conquering yourself, you will still fail — it is only a question of time. Jesus conquered Himself before He conquered the world. That’s why He could boldly say, “the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” John 14:30.

You can conquer the world and still be a problem. You must conquer yourself! Many dodge opportunities to improve themselves and wonder why they are failures. If you are a quitter, you will end up failing! You refused to conquer yourself, so you have no self-discipline — a necessary requirement for success. Success is not a function of prayers; it is a function of self-discipline. Yes, God has given you fantastic ideas but those ideas will never be actualized without self-discipline.

Rendering Financial Services by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Rendering Financial Services by Pastor David Ibiyeomie
The account in Genesis chapter 1 gives a vivid explanation of progression. God moved from one level to another. He did not create all things in one day. This same approach is applicable in business. Your success in business is evident when you move from one level to the other. You should not remain at the beginning where you started; there should be advancement. Think big from the beginning but start with what is available and then keep making progress.

Job 8:7 (KJV) Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

To neglect the law of progression may keep you from going forward. Start with what is available; it is not evidence of doubt but evidence of planning. Faith will not take the place of planning. The Almighty God had to plan and if He, to whom all things are possible moved from one step to another, then you are not exempted. One step at a time is the surest way to get to the top. Every long journey starts with a step. Failure to take the first step is also failure to arrive at your destination.

Refuse Failure by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Refuse Failure by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

You need to know that God did not create you to be a mediocre on earth nor did he create you to struggle through life; your redemption in Christ makes you a person of value.

Romans 8:30 (KJV) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Matthew 5:14 (KJV) Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

You are not a man to be pitied; you are created to command the envy of the world. Though many have come across failure, the Bible assures that all things will always work together for good to them that love Him. If you are a lover of God, a testimony is coming out of that seemingly hopeless situation for you. There’s room for you at the top, do not settle for failure — react against it! If your desire is to make a mark in life, you must be prepared to go beyond the average and be determined to crush whatever wants to cheat you out of your own place at the top.

Serving God with Your Family by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Serving God with Your Family by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Serving God with your family is the highest priority for every family that will succeed. Serving God with your family is not a waste of time; it is the most profitable venture on earth. It is not just joining a service group; it is to determine to function effectively with all your family members.

Joshua 24:15 (KJV) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Each family member should make a choice to serve God with their endowments: talents, resources and strength. Life loses its meaning if you are not living to serve God. When families come to Church, they are being serviced by God; but when they get involved in service units, then they are serving God.

Genesis 18:19 (KJV) For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Utilize The Available by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Utilize The Available by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Whatever God wants to use to bless and lift you is around you. God will not use something far from you to lift you. What you need is the grace of God to recognize what God has made available.

1 Corinthians 2:9-12 (KJV) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. The Holy Ghost causes you to know the things that God has given to you.

Secure Your Miracle by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Secure Your Miracle by Pastor David Ibiyeomie
To remain a star in the kingdom of God, you must know how to deal with the trickster. The master trickster is the devil. God will not drive the devil away for us; we have the responsibility to do so.

Genesis 15:11 (KJV) And when the fowls came down upon the carcasses, Abram drove them away.
When the devil wants to tamper with any sacrifice you have given, you have the responsibility to rise up to the occasion and drive him away. The devil does not believe in congratulating people; he destabilizes people. After every manifestation comes temptation.

Time Management by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Time Management by Pastor David Ibiyeomie
Topic: Time Management

God has given every one the time to be the best he/she is created to be. How you utilize your time determines how far you will go in life. Stop spending time and start investing it. Time spenders are time wasters. Lack of time management is the reason many are not succeeding in life. Time is the most valuable asset in the school of success.

Proverbs 24:-33-34 (KJV) -Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.

People who make life count are those who invest their time.

Excellent Service by David Ibiyeomie

Excellent Service by David Ibiyeomie
Topic: Excellent Service

Service is a vital aspect of our walk with God. Service makes our walk with God meaningful and fruitful. Without service, your walk with God is fake. Your glorious future is secured through quality service to God. Service is your ladder to higher heights in life. We are primarily saved to serve God. The soul searching question now is, “should we serve God with a sense of mediocrity or touch of excellence?” God deserves excellent service from His people because He is an excellent God. God’s name alone is excellent.
