Our soul waiteth for the Lord . . . — Psalm 33:20

I am a soul—and I have a body! The body is the house in which the soul lives. When Oliver Wendell Holmes was in his 80th year, a friend hailed him and asked, “How are you?” “I’m fine,” said Holmes, “the house I live in is tottering and crumbling, but Oliver Wendell Holmes is fine, thank you.” In this materialistic age we often forget that the real, the abiding part of us is invisible. Much time, money, and effort are expended to perpetuate the physical part of us, and too many are unconcerned about their spiritual health and nurture. Hence doctors’ offices are overcrowded, and many ministers’ counseling rooms are empty.

Topic: Silence the Critics [Kenneth Copeland Devotional 22 May 2019]

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men. – 1 Peter 2:15

I know from personal experience that when people start to criticize you and persecute you because you live by faith, your natural human response is to want to strike back. You want to start dishing out a little criticism of your own. Maybe if they get a taste of their own medicine, they’ll shut their mouths, you think.

Be A Life Long Learner By David Ibiyeomie

Be A Life Long Learner By David Ibiyeomie

Prov.24:5 -A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

A wise man said that destiny is like stock exchange – it changes per day based on the value attached to it. Don’t be deceived that you will still be in the same level with your classmates or peers in the future because twenty children don’t play together for twenty years. By destiny, you are not rated the same with your peers. To raise your class in destiny, you must do something that others are not doing though you sit in the same class. You need to go the extra mile to enhance your result if you must boost your destiny level.

Reviving Marital Relationship (Part 1) by Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Reviving Marital Relationship (Part 1) by Pastor Faith Oyedepo

Dear Reader,

Happy New Month! I welcome you into another exciting moment in God’s presence, in Jesus’ precious name! This month, God will be releasing upon every reader an unusual grace to be the doer of everything you learn from this platform thereby making our homes heaven on earth. Reviving Marital Relationship is the topic we will be examining this month.

You may ask, But why reviving? You will agree with me that in many homes, the level of love between a couple few years after marriage is not usually at the same level it was few months after the wedding. In most families, it is always on the decrease. This week, I will be sharing with you the first step to reviving or renewing your marital relationship. One of the things that must be in place is your Expectation. The Word of God says: For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18).

Your expectations as a couple go a long way in seeing your home a blissful one. Every man sets a stage for his miracle. It is your expectation that gets fulfilled. One key factor for the miraculous is expectation. Do you totally believe in the covenant of hitch-free marriage? Then you need to desire in your heart to see it become a reality and I see that becoming your experience as a family, in Jesus name.

Memorise: “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”- Psalm 50:15

Read: 1 Corinthians 4:9-10 (KJV)

9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

Bible in One Year: Exodus 37-38, Jeremiah 40:1-12
