"An Ideal wife", Men's Reaction to What they Want

 

It has remained a mystery among single women for centuries with bachelorettes trying to work out what a man wants in his future wife.



    Now the mystery has finally been solved as hundreds of men have revealed what they truly looking for in 'the one'.

    Male Reddit users have taken to the social media site to disclose what qualities they look for in an ideal woman.
     Kyrias described his ideal wife as: 'Someone who genuinely likes me instead of some checklist of qualities that I managed to get a pass on.Someone also said he is already married and agreed that Kyrias was looking in the right direction for the perfect partner.
     He said: 'My wife loves me for who I am. It wasn't about who she thought I could be, or who she thought she could make me into, but just wanted to be with me. Despite all my flaws and weird habits she still wanted to be with me. Even with all of her flaws and weird habits, I still wanted to be with her. Sometimes, things just click together, and it's not something you realize right away.'
     The vast majority agreed that their wasn't a specific 'checklist' that they were looking for but more of a mutual understanding. AvettLover added: 'I don't have a checklist, it's never been my style. As long as we get a long, and find each other attractive, I think I could base a relationship off that. There were a few submissions that admitted to having very specific ideas of who they might marry.
      ShelSilverstain reeled of their checkpoints as: 'Tall . Dark . Handsome . Inherited Money . Family Connections. Looks, health, wealth, all changes, but of those values seem to remain the most over a longer period of time
      However kosmor said that checklists go out of the window when you meet the right women. He added: 'I had a huge checklist before I met my wife. There was only a single thing on that list I would never overlook. A genuinely kind hearted person'.
       User NoveltyHoosier had quite an unusual requirement for the woman of his dreams. He stated: 'I want someone that I can argue with (and who will argue with me), without it turning into a fight. Someone that can call me on my BS when it matters, who isn't going to flip out if I call her on hers. I'd much rather be with someone who will challenge me and make me rethink things than someone who is trying too hard to be nice and sweet all the time.'
