The movie, ’76, which was directed by Izu Ojukwu, emerged the biggest winner at this year’s Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award , AMVCA.
’76 stole the show, winning Best Movie, Best Actress, Best Costume Designer, Best Art Director and Best Director.
The event which was held at the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos yesterday also witnessed wins from Actress Funke Akindele who also won two awards for the Best Television Series for Jenifas Diary and Best Actress In A Comedy and Tv Series.
The Trailblazer Award for the AMVCA 2017 went to Somkele Iyamah-Idhalama , while Chika Okpala popularly known as Chief Zebrudaya took home the Industry Merit Award.
