Efya has been awarded Best Female Vocalist at the Ghana Entertainment Awards 2017, held at the Florence Gould Hall in New York. The maiden event awarded outstanding personalities in sports, music, film, radio and TV.
The Ghanaian neo-soul singer was presented the award at the prestigious SOBs in New York . Efya expressed gratitude for her award in her Instagram post assuring her fans of being willing and able to make them proud .
