Africa Youth and Talent Summit 2017 Report

 

    On Thursday July 20th, 2017 the maiden edition of Africa Youth and Talent Summit (#AYTSummit2017)  took place in GNAT Hall, 20km Adjacent Waec Hall, Tamale, Ghana.

 
   Participants from three countries (Ghana, Nigeria and Togo) between 20 and 35 years of age took part in the summit. Prince Siita Sofo, CEO NTV Ghana, Mohammed Mustapha, Personal Development Coach and Mr. Awin Peter Co-founder, Cowtribe opened the summit.The Facilitators sessions/workshops includes, Personal Development, Career Development, Africa Youths and Agricuture.
                                                                                                               

    In addition, a panel discussion of each session with youth representatives in the various industries was quite interactive giving participants the opportunity to speak directly to keynote speakers in the Q&A session. The Africa Youth and Talent Summit attracted representatives from Youth-friendly organizations, teachers, politicians, policy makers, the general public and media. Overall an approximately 500 people attended some section of AYTS.

   Furthermore, the summit also entertaining as performing music artiste T-Banks from Nigeria trilled the audience as well as spoken word artist Pobee from Ghana and Sanni from Togo trilled the audience.In the end, the participants of the Africa Youth and Talent Summit proposed to hold regular Youth Training to be led by the Youth Ambassador, Mohammed Yakubu and to promote developmental platforms for youth and talent development.
