John 16:33 - “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Are you having a bad day? A bad week? A bad month? Rejoice by choice! Don’t look at your circumstances, but look to the One who can control them.
Right now, this instant, you can have total, all-consuming peace in your life, no matter how out of control things might be. The world didn’t give you this peace, and the world can’t take it away. You can give it away, but no one can take from you what you don’t give them.
You can choose to saturate your life with God’s peace even when all hell is breaking loose around you. Happiness is based on your circumstances, but true peace comes from the Lord. You don’t have to be happy to have peace in your life.
No matter what challenge you are facing, know that God sees you right where you are, and everything is going to be alright! How do I know that? Because His eye is on the sparrow, and the Bible says that you are much more important to Him than the birds of the air. He knows the number of hairs on your head and collects your tears in a vase. Nothing goes unnoticed by Almighty God! And yes, He sees you right smack dab in the middle of your firestorm. Will you allow Him to take control and lead you to safety? Invite the Prince of Peace to rule and reign in your heart today!
