John Hagee Daily Devotional 07 January 2018- Ephesians 6:10-11

Ephesians 6:10-11 —Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Every Day Of Your Life You’re Involved In An Emotional, Physical, And Spiritual Fight.  You’re Either Going To Win Or Lose; You’ll Either Be The Victor Or The Victim!

Millions of people live in perpetual defeat and humiliation because they do not understand spiritual warfare.  Why is it that some people constantly struggle and never reach their goal?  Why is it that some people are perpetually frustrated with sickness and financial reversal and emotional crises?   Why is it that some people seem to have continued success without any effort at all, while others seem crushed by endless litanies of unexplained tragedies?

We were brought up with the idea to believe that fighting was the exception, not the rule.  But that is not true.  Every day, you are going to be involved in some sort of fight.  You’re either going to wear a crown, or you’re going to live in chains.  You’re going to live in shame and despair or you’re going to have the shout of victory in your mouth and the choice is yours.  You must know who your enemy is, and how to fight and win.

The army of God is led by Jesus Christ the author and the finisher of your faith.  He is the captain of our salvation.  You are to be what He is –not a whiny pacifist defeated by every adversary, but a conqueror.
