Enjoying Supernatural Favour By David Ibiyeomie

Topic: Enjoying Supernatural Favour

The word enjoy means finding and experiencing pleasure for one’s self.

Supernatural means existing or occurring outside the normal experience or knowledge of man. Not explainable by the known forces or laws of nature.

Favour means something done or granted out of goodwill.
It is an act of excessive kindness or a show of preferential treatment.
It is a gift bestowed as a token of goodwill from God. It is divine partiality – Psalm 5:12; 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Enjoying supernatural favour means finding or experiencing pleasure from a show of preferential treatment which is beyond explanation by natural laws.

Favour is available to every child of God – Psalm 5:12.
The favour of God causes people to go out of their way to bless you without knowing why.
God’s supernatural favour is not based on your personality, looks or background but on the Word of God and your belief that He will accomplish whatever He says in your life.

How To Enjoy Supernatural Favour:

1. Realize that you are special to God – Luke 15:11 -24.
Low self-esteem is a function of ignorance.
When you have knowledge of God’s word, you will never look down on yourself.
2. Your mistakes do not disqualify you from being a child of God – Psalm 8:3-4.
Sin took away your glory but Jesus restored it. God’s glory in you is never in short supply – Romans 8:29-30.

3. Have a true revelation of who you are in Christ; God loves and cares for you – 2 Thessalonians 2:13.

Every negative mentality of doubt and failure will vanish when you know that you are loved of God.
Never believe the lies of the devil that you are unloved. That belief only causes loneliness and depression.

4. You are the object of God’s love – Numbers 6:25-26.

Everyone loved is always favoured; God loves you, therefore you are a candidate for His favour – Romans 8:31

5. Never walk in condemnation – Romans 8:34, Romans 8:1-2.
Stop running yourself down in your thoughts and in your words. You are wonderfully and fearfully made; God took His time to create you – Psalm 139:14.
You are very special to Him.

God does not use your past to determine your future.
When you keep looking at your past mistakes, it hinders your blessings -Isaiah 43:18-19.
Know that God loves you and that you are his beloved.
