David Ibiyeomie – Overcoming Challenges

Topic: Overcoming Challenges

Challenges are confrontations you meet on your way to success that opposes, protests against, disagrees, disputes with, resists and even questions your right to achieve that success.

Challenges will come but overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. A wise man said – the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenges and controversy.

A challenge will either stop you or become your stepping stone. In Mark 4:35-31, Jesus succeeded in the face of a challenge. If Jesus succeeded, then, you can also succeed according to Phil. 4:13 which says:

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Challenges are exams of life and channels for change; they bring out your potentials. They are opportunities in disguise.

Abraham Lincoln failed several times in life but never gave up until he became an American president at the age of 52. If you fix your eyes on the success, the challenges you encounter will seem minute and will not bother you. It is possible to succeed in the face of challenges.

No challenge is bigger than you; they are meant to bring out the best in you. There is a breakthrough awaiting you as you overcome that challenge. Do not give up because your miracle is tied to that challenge. Every challenge is a potential source of testimony.

To overcome challenges in the journey to your success, you must avoid fear, low self-esteem and lack of confidence in God’s word. Change your belief system for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he – Prov. 23.7a. Make up your mind and face that challenge headstrong because the journey to your success begins with your mind being made up.

That you failed before does not mean you should give up; failure will only last as long as you permit it. Any time you see a challenge, celebrate it as another potential miracle; that way, you will keep succeeding. Don’t give up, keep moving; keep your hope alive because your miracle is just by the corner. I see you succeed in Jesus name-Amen!!!

God bless you.
